The Chubby ChatterBox Says...: 1/12/2008

Went to Ikea with daddy to buy shelves for my minor room makeover... We wanted to buy the shelves yesterday actually, but the boxes were way too long to fit into the boot of daddy's Mercs... so today, we took his company's Wish (MPV) to go get the shelves...

I was itching to sit right at the back **i've never sat at the back of a 7 seater before** but didn't get a chance to la **even though i voiced it out** coz daddy's quite anal about being treated like a chauffer.. lol... soooooooo i just sat in front to avoid upsetting him...

daddy watched "when dogs love cats" **TVB drama** with me over the weekend and he actually used characters from the show to explain facts of life to me in the car today... lol... well... he got my attention... **more than usual anyways**...

i was going on and on about my friends being allowed to drive their parents' car etc etc, dropping "small" hints in the hope that he'll let me take the Mercs when he's overseas **or at least buy me a small car when i get my licence** but that kinda backfired and led to another one of his FACTS OF LIFE session which i must say i fully comprehend and don't intend to fight back **its a christmas miracle**... lol... neways moral of that lecture was IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT BIG A HEAD, DON'T BUY THAT BIG A HAT **translate that into chinese**...

yea... so in other words, i won't be allowed to drive his car, and i won't be getting one from him either... if i want something, i've got to work hard to get it so that its MINE, i deserved it, and no one can take it away from me... if i didn't work hard for it, it isn't mine and i won't be able to keep it for long... i get it daddy :) ...

Ok... i'm so uuber tired from all the packing so i'll just cut the yak yak and post the before and after pics...

before: 2 study tables joined... it was even messier when books and CDs were stacked up on the tables... lol

after : still messy la... but at least its alittle more organised... lol...

my bed... time to get a new clock though... lol...

Elvis' bed next to mine... i've got a human Queen sized bed and the bee bear's got a doggy version of a queen sized bed... his is way more comfy though... lol...
