Met up with bestie Cynthia today with the intention of **finally** registering for my driving lessons... i was all geared up and ready to start classes ASAP but low and behold, i flunked my eyesight test!! can u believe it??
sheesh... i've considered the possibility of failing the basic theory test or the advance theory test or even the practical test **touchwood** but i so did not see myself failing the bloody eyesight test!! OMG... imagine the humiliation!!! the lady was like ERRRR... I THINK YOU BETTER GET YOUR GLASSES CHANGED BEFORE COMING BACK TO REGISTER... **faints!!**... bestie passed the eyesight test with flying colours so she registered 1st...
after we left BBDC, i brought bestie to Prosperity kitchen for lunch... their service level was superb today... haha... since we went during off peak hours, we were the only 2 souls in the restaurant... It really looked as if we'd booked the whole place... haha.... bestie had wonton noodle, i had dumpling noodle, we both had a cup of yuanyang each and we shared a plate of mixed BBQ cuts... as usual, the food was DIVINE!!
here's the BBQ cut platter... yummm.... we didn't take pics of the noodle, the drinks or ourselves coz all eyes were on us *since we were the only 2 customers at that time*, it was kinda impossible to cam-whore without humiliating ourselves in public... lol...
after lunch, we cabbed back down to the cathay and bought tixs for TWILIGHT at 7.20pm... while waiting for the movie to start, we popped over to Paris Miki in PS to get the blindbat **aka me** a new pair of glasses then walked over to Eskimo for la kopi/TVB/boytalk session... Twilight was really good... so romantic!! OMG... i'm gonna watch it again coz we missed the 1st 10 mins of the show **we thought the movie was at 7.40... lol**...
When i got home, i saw a package on my table... Bee Bear's designer leather collar and leash set from Hamish McBeth is here!! haha... i've been waiting for it to come in the mail all week!!...
