03/11/2008 - RMB

Elvis has been on BARF **raw meat** for quite some time now but today was the first time he 's had RMB aka raw meaty bones... feeding RMB is an important component to dogs on raw coz it gives them the mental stimulation and exercise required... it helps clean their teeth as well **saves the trouble and danger of putting the dog through GA at the vet to have its teeth cleaned**

it is also the 1st time Bee has managed to gnaw on a bone... lol... usually when i give him a bone **eg: drumstick**, he would look at me with his "and what do i do with it??" face.... wahahahahaha... but overall, i'm happy that he took to that extra large piece of lamb shank...

**nah jadey... u wanted see him chew on the shank, the pics are for u...lol**

here's the lamb shank

he had to wait for the OK from me before tucking in... haha... he hates that... lol... look at his face...

here's Bee boy enjoying the shankhe started chewing on the shank standing up but about 45 mins later, he got tired and decided that its easier to chew lying down... lol...whats left after 1.5 hrsOn a sidenote, i've had loads of people telling me that feeding a dog raw meat will cause him to be aggrassive coz the dog is being exposed to blood... so i would like to take this opportunity to tell everyone reading that IT IS NOT TRUE!! infact Elvis has become a much happier and healthier dog since he's been on raw coz the raw diet has shown much improvement on his skin...

people who've known us for a long time would know that poor elvis has had skin allergies for years and was on daily medication to keep the skin problem under control... because of the daily medication, he had to frequent the vet for blood tests which really traumatised him **he hates needles**... we were told that allergies cannot be cured, only controlled so i took the risk and put a cold turkey stop to the medication and changed his diet while waiting for a scheduled blood test but low and behold, after changing his diet, his skin condition improved!! even the vet was surprised... now Elvis dosen't need daily medication or blood tests anymore!! infact i heard that his skin doctor is now a customer of the raw product that Elvis is on as well!!

with that, i urge all dog owners out there who are struggling with their babies' skin problem and having to face the pain of watching them suffer by scratching themselves silly to give BARF a try... it worked for mine, it may work for yours as well... raw meat will not make a dog aggrassive but the endless pain and suffering caused by health problem might!!!

oh...i've also started watching a new TVB drama today.... its called 人间蒸发 or "into thin air" and it stars Kenneth Ma **AHHH CUTE**, Bernice Liu **very Hot, one of my fav actresses** and Michael Miu **Double cute... need i say more**.... lol.... so far so good... i'm lovin' it!!
