Its the 1st of October... time to start preparing for my Bday party... LoL...
i was suppose to send the invitations out long ago lah but i couldn't find nice invitation cards... so i went to Page One at Vivo today and bought 2 sets **12 pieces** of these:
as cute as the cards are, i thought they were kinda plain lah so i bought a roll of butterfly ribbon and made small bows to add on to the card... haha.... since there was extra ribbon, i even made 4 small top knot bows for little Venus (T's yorkie)... lol...

i love making doggy bows... i really hope i can get my silver poodle soon so i can finally put my collection of bows to good use... lol... for those of u who are wondering why won't i just let Elvis wear the bows?? here's why...

i spent like 3 hours doing the invitation cards... i didn't invite that many people though, just closer friends and their sisters/boyfriend... LoL... besides my buds, my ah ma **loves**, my uncle William, my er yi **2nd aunty**, few of my cousins and cousin in laws as well as cousins' partners will also be coming... oh and not forgetting my daddy's golf kakis and some of my neighbours... haha... fun...
Besides settling the invites, we also went to order my cake... FWAH we almost had fanted when we heard the price!! the last time we asked about the cost of the cake, we were told it would cost around $50... but today after ordering the cake, our bill came up to almost $140!! *faints*... but since it was my birthday, daddy let me have it my way lah... its not everyday a girl turns 21 u know... haha...
the butterfly cake is gonna be from awefully chocolate by the way... rum and cherry chocolate cake... YUMMM...the cake choosing process was fun until these 2 wierdos came in...
while we **mummy, daddy and i** were choosing the cake from the menu, this couple **wierdos** came out of nowhere and just conviniently took the file away while we were looking at it!! OMG they were sooooooooooooo rude!! they didn't even say excuse me or ask if we've finished with it before taking it!! Daddy was quite pissed off so he stared at them with his 2mm eyes **LOL LOL LOL** for awhile and said," excuse me, can we have it back please, we are not done." and guess what!! those 2 inconsiderate people just walked out!! HOW RUDE CAN ONE GET!! not even a word of apology!!... they wern't even intererested in ordering a cake to begin with!!! HRMMP...
oh well... its almost 1am... i'm gonna walk Elvis and go to bed... Nite peeps...
