we were shopping at PS today when we walked past this rowdy group of people around my age and my dad spotted this girl with her boyfriend...
the girl was fatter than me though... so my dad came up with this brilliant thought which let to the following conversation...
dad>> EH... IF SHE CAN FIND A BOYFRIEND, HOW COME U CANNOT???
me>> ERRR... LETS SEE... COZ LOVE IS BLIND AND I'M NOT?? LoL...
dad>> NO LAH... COZ AH, TO FIND BOYFRIEND, U MUST EITHER BE FAT N CUTE OR SLIM AND PRETTY... U ARE IN BETWEEN!! THATS WHY U CAN'T FIND ONE!!!
**smug look on his face... he's clearly very proud of his "AH-HA"moment**
me>> WAH!! SO U SAYING I'M NOT CUTE LAH!!... OK... FINE...I SHALL START STUFFING MY FACE AGAIN UNTIL I REACH THE "CUTE" STATE!! ITS EASIER TO PUT ON THEN TO LOSE LOR!!!

LoL... then came part II of poor me being suan by my family...this time round, my mom got owned as well... haha... poor her... she was only trying to insert some fun into the conversation though... lol...
setting : Wang Jia coffee house... we were having coffee while engaging in rather... erm... MEANINGFUL conversation about my life...
dad>> **talking about hanging out with the right group of people + life + school + my future**U MUST REMEMBER WHAT U ARE GOING TO SCHOOL FOR U KNOW... DON'T WASTE $$$... TIME TO THINK ABOUT YOUR FUTURE ALREADY...
mom>> **rather randomly** EH GIRL... THE BOYS AT THAT SCHOOL QUITE CUTE HOR!!!
dad>> OI...U VERY FUNNY RIGHT!! I WAS TALKING TO HER ABOUT THE FACTS OF LIFE... WHY U TALKING ABOUT BOYS!! SO IRRELEVANT!!
me>> **trying to look very angelic at daddy** OH... ISSIT?? I DIDN'T NOTICE LAH... ANYWAYS THATS NOT WHY I'M GOING TO SCHOOL FOR WHAT!!
actually... to be honest... i did look at the boys that day lah **female instincts ma**!! and they were quite cute!! my ma has good taste... lol... but its really not my main priority in school lah **i'm really there to concentrate on my school work... i swear**... the cute boys are more of a "might as well" thing... really...

right before leaving the cafe... we were talking about this friend whose kid has mild down syndrome...
dad>> YA LAR.. POORTHING U KNOW...UNCLE XXX'S SON HAS MILD DOWN SYNDROME...

sigh... poor me!! always kena suan!! lol... but it was fun lah... haha...
the day went pretty well until dinner time... had an arguement with daddy again and now we're at war.... AGAIN ... we share a rather wacked out relationship... one minute he's my best friend, my hero, my inspiration and the next, he's my arch enemy!! **sighs** when will this end?? or rather... when will i grow up???
